We are thrilled to learn that Dungarvan has been allocated an investment of €1.4 million for a digital transformation hub, which is to include; 90 co-working spaces, an incubation, innovation and commercialisation hub, training workspaces and a digital knowledge facility.
This is really exciting news for Dungarvan and should help established local businesses and new start-ups to thrive.
“The level of funding that has been awarded to Dungarvan today is significant and should be seen as a huge vote of confidence in County Waterford. Credit must go to Waterford Council and all the stakeholders who contributed to the quality of the application. I look forward to working with the Council, Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber of Commerce, WIT, the Enterprise Centre and other community and industry stakeholders to see this regeneration project come to fruition”, said Senator Cummins.
