Liberty Blue and our Community

At Liberty Blue Estate Agents we do what we can to make a positive contribution to our community.

Buying Local and Supporting the Community

Liberty Blue Estate Agents believe in promoting the concept of local multiplier effect – money spent locally has a much greater impact – and implementing it at every opportunity. Liberty Blue contributes over €1 million annually to the local economy. This includes goods and services procured from contractors in the region of €500,000, direct goods and services for the business of over €200,000 and wages in the region of €400,000.

Promotion of the Region

Regina, after her talk with WIT Business students, 2020

Founder Regina Mangan, on behalf of Liberty Blue Estate Agents, has assisted the IDA and Waterford Council with foreign investment-related visits. One particularly successful visit involved the CEO and management team of West Pharma which resulted in West choosing Waterford as their Global Manufacturing Facility.

The team recently secured €10,000 through Enterprise Ireland Innovation vouchers to fund the research and publication of an “Invest Waterford” document, used by Waterford Chamber to attract funding and investment.

Liberty Blue Estate Agents represented Waterford Chamber of Commerce on the David Mc Williams national television show, Republic of Surbia. The key messages Regina delivered were that people who live in Waterford compared to Dublin are €8,500 – €10,000 better off per year and staff retention in tech and pharma is 90% versus 55% in Dublin.

Regina contributes regularly on local and national media on property and business matters and speak at prestigious events such as Crystal Valley Tech job summit and other Chamber and Bank events.
